Koula has 566 units in total. There are 126 Studios, 255 one-bedrooms, and 148 two-bedroom units, and 37 three-bedroom units. Every single home has a lanai and comes with at least 1 parking stall. All two-bedrooms and three-bedroom units will have two parking stalls, except for the back mountain stack two-bedrooms. Units in those stacks will only have 1 parking stall if you are in the middle to lower half of the building. As mentioned, Jeanne Gang from Studio Gang had the structural columns (which were normally on the inside of the building like Waiea, Anaha, and Aeo) pushed to the exterior of the building. Koula has 8'8'' ceilings in most units and has 10' ceilings in the Penthouse Units. The units in Koula incorporate Miele appliances and have natural earth tones with a slightly darker color scheme for the cabinets, countertops, and flooring. There was also be a furniture package designed by Yabu Pushelberg allowing owners to have their unit completely turn-key allowing them to simply move in with a toothbrush and a suitcase full of clothes.  

The Amenity Deck

At Koula the entire 8th floor is their amenity deck. There is over an acre of amenities and features a Great room and lanai designed by Yabu Pushelberg, lap swim pool, pool side cabanas, fitness center, outdoor dining pavilions, chef's kitchen, BBQ grills, sunset bar, kids play area, and a dog park on a separate level. Koula essentially learned from the past Ward Village building's and improved upon it.
